Ivanka Lefeuvre

Ivanka Lefeuvre, rozená Šimková, patřila od dob svých vysokoškolských studií ke kritikům normalizačního režimu, na počátku 70. let byla vězněna v Brně za účast na letákové akci. Je jednou z prvních signatářek Charty 77, angažovala se ve Výboru na obranu nespravedlivě stíhaných a v nezávislých kulturních aktivitách.

Před pádem berlínské zdi publikovala prózu a poezii v samizdatu a v exilových časopisech (Svědectví, Paternoster). Od roku 1982 žije ve Francii. Je autorkou deníkových záznamů o vynuceném odchodu její rodiny z Československa v rámci akce Státní bezpečnosti „Asanace“ Migrace 1982 (Academia, 2014) a jednou z respondentek Marcely Linkové a Nadi Strakové pro knihu Bytová revolta: jak ženy dělaly disent (Academia, Sociologický ústav, 2017).

Povoláním psycholožka, dvacet let působila v Centru dětství a rodiny v Limoges, paralelně pracovala v několika evropských programech v oblasti sociálně právní ochrany ohrožených dětí. Přednáší a publikuje v češtině a ve francouzštině.

Ivanka Lefeuvre (neé Šimková) became one of the critics of the Communist „normalization“ regime while she was at university. At the beginning of the 1970s she was imprisoned in Brno for distributing leaflets. She was one of the first signatories to Charter 77, was active in the Committee for the Defence of the Unjustly Prosecuted and participated in other independent cultural activities.

Prior to the fall of the Berlin Wall, she had published prose and poetry in samizdat and exile magazines (Svědectví, Paternoster). She has lived in France since 1982 and has written a book of diary entries Migrace 1982 about her family’s forced departure from Czechoslovakia as a result of the Secret Police operation called „Asanace“ (Clearance). She was one of the respondents for Marcela Linková and Naďa Straková’s book Flat Revolt: Women’s Role in Dissent.

As a psychologist she worked for the Childhood and Family Centre in Limoges for twenty years, working at the same time for multiple European programmes in the area of social and legal protection of endangered children. She gives lectures and publishes texts in Czech and French.
