Tamás Deutsch

Poslanec Evropského parlamentu / Member of the European Parliament 

Tamás Deutsch je vedoucím maďarské delegace ELS v Evropském parlamentu (Fidesz-KDNP) a od roku 2009 je poslancem Evropského parlamentu.

Jako právník narozený v roce 1966 má Deutsch velmi dlouhou kariéru v maďarské a evropské politice. Je jedním ze zakládajících členů Fidesz (1988) a hrál důležitou roli v přechodném období na konci 80. let. Od té doby zastává Tamás Deutsch řadu vysoce postavených pozic, jako je například ministr pro mládež a sport, místopředseda maďarského parlamentu, místopředseda parlamentní skupiny Fidesz, místopředseda Fidesz.

Je také velmi aktivní v dalších profesních oblastech a byl místopředsedou maďarského olympijského a paralympijského výboru a je předsedou sportovního klubu MTK. Tamás Deutsch je ženatý a je otcem pěti dětí.

Tamás Deutsch is Head of the Hungarian EPP Delegation in the European Parliament (Fidesz-KDNP). He has been a Member of the European Parliament since 2009.

A lawyer born in 1966, Deutsch has had a very long career in Hungarian and European politics. He is one of the founding members of Fidesz (1988) and played an important role in the transition period at the end of the 1980s. Since then, Tamás Deutsch has held numerous high-ranking positions, such as Minister for Youth and Sport, Vice-President of the Hungarian Parliament, Deputy Chair of the Parliamentary Group of Fidesz, Vice-President of Fidesz, etc.

He is also very active in other professional areas. He used to be Vice-President of the Hungarian Olympic and Paralympic Committees and is currently President of MTK Sports Club. Tamás Deutsch is married and is the father of five children.
