Yascha Mounk je německo-americký politolog. Studoval na univerzitách v Cambridge a na Harvardu a v současnosti působí jako docent na katedře mezinárodních vztahů na Univerzitě Johnse Hopkinse. Dříve vyučoval politologii na Harvardu.

Yascha Mounk is a German-American political scientist. He studied at Trinity College, Cambridge, and at Harvard University. He currently works as an associate professor of the Practice of International Affairs at Johns Hopkins University. He also lectured political theory at Harvard University.

Formerly, he was Executive Director at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. As a freelance journalist, he has published articles in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Foreign Affairs and Slate. He also hosts a podcast called The Good Fights and has published several books. One of them, People versus Democracy, has been translated into ten languages ​​and triggered a broad international debate.
